The Digital Switchover involves the turning off of the analogue terrestrial transmitter network and it's replacement with new digital terrestrial network. This is all due to be completed sometime during 2012. After switchover more features and programmes will become available and many of us will be viewing these in High Definition with on-demand features at our disposal.
