It goes to show how much in demand Setanta are! On another note Mrs E, you shouldn't post your phone number on a public blog for obvious reasons. I have edited your comment and would advise emailing or phoning Setanta. We are not in anyway connected with Setanta, we are just a public blog about digital tv.

I have received my freebox from Setanta and my card I have tried many ways to set it up but cannot I have phoned to find all are busy and to call back later my account no is edited i would like to be able to watch the match on Monday night my telephone no is edited number on top up card is edited Mrs E edited

You will be required to activate and register your viewing with Setanta Sports and set up your billing details, they should be able to do this over the phone for you. Full details will be within the Setanta Sports starter pack.

Upon purchasing this will there be any need to register the Setanta viewing card online or will I be able to start watching the channel straight away?

You should be OK to use your exsisting Freeview receiver as long as it isn't one of the old ON Digital types (I believe there may be issues with these). Make sure you've recently retuned your Freeview receiver and that you can receive channel 34 OK. Any problems there and you may need to address your aerial reception: visit Freeview Site to check your potential reception where you live. To start viewing, Argos are selling a Setanta Sports Starter Pack for Â£20.99 and they're also available from www.setanta.com . I hope that helps you out....

This looks like a nice price considering it includes a months subscription. I already have a freeview box with a card reader so do I need to buy a new box or could I just get the Setanta viewing card and subscribe?
