The EyeTV 310 is a FTA tuner so it will be suitable for the new Freesat. The only difference is between the old and new will be a few extra channels ontop of the exsiting ones, new branding of Freesat and (hopefully) a few more channels coming out of the encryption contracts. No CAM’s required, they’re not planning on or wanting any encrypted and subscription channels.

Your web site does not answer the following questions:
I use an Elgato EyeTv310 digibox to watch satellite tv on my computer (apple imac).
Will this equipment receive the new freesat?
Will it require a CAM and if so who will supply that and at what cost?
